Welcome to the Dubai World Cup Meeting Horse Racing Tipping Competition as two weeks ago we began a new season of tipping games where it is different as over the last two years we have gone through quite a few competitions that have not been entirely perfect and the participation numbers has reduced because of this. So thanks to Taurus we have hopefully found the perfect horse racing tipping games as i have had good reviews from posters on here


Reigning Champ, Differentdrum, 2023


Here are the rules

You need to select a horse for each race for each day of the festival. You also must select your nap and next best horse as well as this is important if you want to score extra points

This is how it works

Race with 1-6 runners: 5 points to winner, 1 point for second
Race with 7-11 runners: 10 points to winner, 2 points for second & third.
Race with 12-15 runners: 20 points for winner, 5 points for second & third
Race with 16+ runners: 50 points for winner, 10 points for second, third & fourth

Nap Bonus

Odds 2/1 or less, winner: 5 points: E/W, 1 point.
Odds from 2/1 to 5/1, winner: 10 points: E/W, 2 pts
Odds bigger than 5/1 up to 10/1, winner: 20 pts: E/W, 5pts
Odds over 10/1, winner, 50pts: E/W, 10pts.

Next best horse bonus

Odds 2/1 or less, winner: 2 points
Odds from 2/1 to 5/1, winner: 5 points
Odds bigger than 5/1 up to 10/1, winner: 10 pts
Odds over 10/1, winner: 20pts

Remember you get less points for your next best horse and you only score points by having the winner and not each way as well


BONUS (Race Card)
100pts for 4 winners
200pts for 5 winners
500pts for 6 winners
1000pts for 7 winners

Only 1 set of Bonus pts allowed (all winners will be 1000pts and not 1800pts)


Any N/R will go on the FAV unless changed (Joint or Co will be lowest racecard number starting with 1)

ITV are showing the 1.50 and 2.25 after Musselburgh was abandoned

Not sure how we can watch any of the other races, even on Replay, if you don't have Racing TV

Well done to Dimsum who wins the very first Dubai World Cup Meeting Horse Racing Tipping Competition with a fine score and scoring points in seven of the nine races including the having the nap. Swingaleg and Owen finished joint second overall who also had the nap bonus
