Has dalglish turned the nation against Liverpool?

It seems, from the my admittedly unscientific sample of my social circles, that Liverpool have gone from being a club most neutrals had a lot of time for (myself included) to a club people root to lose. Dalglish desperately needs PR training. It isnt just the Suarez incident. People watch his contempt for journos on MOTD and sky sports and see it as indirect contempt for football fans. Clearly, dalglish cares dearly about LFC fans, but it's about perception.

His rude, short and indignance is becoming a serious issue for the club, and I wonder whether there would be quite so many calls for his head up and down the country outside liverpool if he'd just learned to handle himself. They've been poor sure, but it's not unreasonable you bring someone in to rebuild they should be given time I s'pose. But when it comes to dalglish, i can't bring myself to argue that.

Hi all,

I am checking into the capio nightingale clinic tomorrow for a 3 week stint. Luckily my work at paying the £5,000 a week bill to rid me of my drug addiction.

I am just wondering if anyone has been or has any experience of the place? Any info you can give would be helpful and thanks in advance.

The only chance and it's slight, is if the cuteness, warmth, back story of the Russian grannies pulls in the majority of televotes but even then I cannot see it being matched by the juries if they follow their brief so they will get a result like Italy last year. ESCDenmark has some of the best rehearsal videos (besides Eurovision.tv) as they use 2 cameras. Loreen does look odd sometimes in the long shots.

I love this two-parter. It is so atmospheric, with using the Dalek's incidental music, and being so other worldly. I also love this story as it's the first one to have a proper one-one confrontation between Doctor and adversary, something we've come accustomed to in the series but was rare back then.

It's a shame I knew the twist to this story before I watched it, but it does sort of work when you see it in hindsight. Not sure if I'd have sussed it or not, but with my suspicious mind, I probably would!

Off course this is Vicki's first story and it is one of the better ones to feature her. She didn't annoy me so much in this one(that 'pleasure' came later). I'm sure CHJ will have something to add to that! :D

Overall though, it's an enjoyable gem with few faults. Hartnell is on absolute top form in this and the I love the banter between The Doctor and Ian in this as well.
