I've lost sympathy for Brody after he shot that deer - that was a despicable thing to do, not just the poor deer itself but Chris was really upset as he's obviously a sensitive little boy who likes animals. Can't think why Jessica would expect her husband to be some sort of sex machine after having been held captive for the best part of a decade - silly woman....

I thought it was a bit slow tonight - too much on Brody's relationship with his wife.
I was hoping when Carrie was alone in the garage that she would somehow put a camera in there. Also, I didn't understand the bit where the guy living by the airport was told by his wife to drive past their house. Surely the guys who were following him would follow him until he eventually went home. Instead they just gave up and crossed him off their list of suspects. |

I think the whole point in shooting the dear was to show us how cold and detatched he's become. And how much he's longing for everything to go back to normal, but he knows that no matter how hard he tries nothing will ever be the same again.
I'm probably reading into it too much though. |

Is it just me or does the episode just fly by in that 1 hour slot. It feels so short. I'm now desperate to see the next episode! Lol.

If Carrie and Brodie have an affair...I'm out of this 'Soap'.
Not interested in the love lives of characters. This may go the way of Lost |

Did anything significant happen in the last few minutes? My recording stopped before the end credits, when Carrie and Brody had just started talking in the car park.

I missed the first part of the series but I saw last weeks episode and last nights. Damien Lewis is fantastic in this - he is such a good actor.
Is there any way I can watch the beginning of the series? |

A slow episode but again Damian Lewis was just great.
Brody obviously knows about his wife and Mike going by the conversation in the car, he was trying to get Mike to own to up it but he got out of giving him a confession. Shooting the deer shows that he emotionally distant from his family. His wife was upset as he fired the weapon when they had a full house a guests and scared their soon. If Brody has been turned into an assassin then using a gun in public will the likely method. I do wonder if he killed it because his son would have been close to Mike while he captured. The end was a bit boring and maybe Carrie was just putting on act to try and get information as there was some mind games going on. To answer the question above then if you missed it there is 4 OD to catch up :D |
