I liked him in Dancing on Ice and was sorry he wasn't offered another contract this year.

I met him at an event not too long ago and he was completely different to how he is on screen - very reserved and just sitting by himself, minding his own business. He might have been having an off day, but he seemed like an entirely different person.

His mum died very recently and they were very close so don't know if your encounter coincides with that.
