Celebrities that are overexposed?
 

I think Helen Flanagan is overexposed I swear I see an article about her in the Mail Online everyday :mad: which celebs do you think are overexposed?

Talentless 'famous for being famous' RTV nobodies (ie the Towie tribe) are ridiculously overexposed.:yawn:

Lets not forget the Kardashian Klan either.:yawn:

I think ALL celebrities are over exposed with TV interviewers asking their opinions on various things. Why? what makes then any different or more important than the ordinary man or woman on the street. Many have illusions of grandeur. They are what they are — virtual nobodies of no importance.

But on the flip side are people who think being a celebrity automatically makes their opinion invalid or they can't know anything because they are famous. As you say, they are just like the rest of us. Everyday people shell out judgements and opinions every single day, but when a celebrity does it, they are told to be quiet and they shouldn't be judging. I've noticed this a lot with twitter. Every single day there are people who tell celebrities they are ugly, talentless, or whatever and people will talk about government, sports, and any and everything there is to have an opinion about, but if a celebrity is rude like everyone else or if they have an uncommon opinion it is world news and they get ridiculed for doing having an opinion just like everyone else.

Rihanna for me i like the girl but i could do with hearing less of her tbh

The Beckhams get a pass in my book - they have both actually know what work is and you can actually say what they are famous for.


The Kardasian's on the other hand still leave me baffled ?? Seriously what are they famous for? David can kick a football very well and Victoria designs pretty clothes and used to be part of a successful pop group these are both tangible skills.

David and Victoria Beckham. Since they have returned to the UK they are in the newspapers daily. God knows why they had to show a picture of her in a chip shop is beyond me.

My husband made me laugh though he said was she there in there advertising skinny chips.

Yeah but you have to remember an awful lot of these folks are represented by big PR companies who Simon Cowell, etc, pay a lot of moolah to, to advertise the brand.

If you get cash thrown at you, you have to overexpose clients to the media non-stop or the Boss will just go to another rival company.

This is why much of what you see re: One Direction and other over-exposed artists is more about their fame and the types of companies drafted in to work on their behalf.

Some of the 'over-exposure' is also newspapers running their own (made up) stories as well.
