I just read about that on twitter - wonder what happened?

stargazer61 15-04-2013 20:11

It is on SKY news.

Very chaotic. Quite upsetting

tellywatcher73 15-04-2013 20:12

Just heard about it :O

Natuk80 15-04-2013 20:12

I am just watching it on Sky news now.. It's scary indeed.. Two explosions at the finish line.

.Lauren. 15-04-2013 20:14

Not much you can say really other than how awful and let's hope for the least number of casualties/fatalities possible.

Arcana 15-04-2013 20:14

Two explosions at the finish line apparently from inside a hotel.

welwynrose 15-04-2013 20:16

Saw this on twitter not good news

Miss XYZ 15-04-2013 20:16

Just watching on Sky News. How awful...

Armi 15-04-2013 20:16

It doesn't look good.

MargMck 15-04-2013 20:17

Really terrible - that helicopter overhead had some graphic scenes.:(

Sammy2 15-04-2013 20:17

Any chance of some sort of natural gas explosion or are we looking at terrorism?
I hope the casualties are low :(

Inspiration 15-04-2013 20:18

Can't believe Sky News are running the footage they are showing right now.

LostFool 15-04-2013 20:18

Bloody hell. I have been to Boston many times and know that area very well.

Our US office is very near to the site so it's possible I could know people involved.

Think there will be many severe injuries because many seem to have been trapped by the metal poles used to hold up the seating

swingaleg 15-04-2013 20:19

Sky News showing harrowing pictures...........they don't usually do that

Mark F 15-04-2013 20:19

Very sad...hope people are ok.

I know, that footage is really harrowing to watch and listen to. :(

Lou Kelly 15-04-2013 20:20

There's some very graphic pictures/video being shown on Sky News at the minute

JasonWatkins 15-04-2013 20:20

You know with all the stuff going on about gun control in the US at the moment, it wouldn't surprise me if this was domestic as a "warning" to the government about what will happen.

IzzyS 15-04-2013 20:21

The footage I'm seeing doesn't look too graphic - some blood shown from a distance and thats about it?.

If there are any New Kids fans here (quite possibly not but just incase its of interest), apparently Joey McIntyre finished the marathon 5 minutes before the explosions, so he's ok.

stargazer61 15-04-2013 20:22

The two explosions are quite a way apart, from the US footage.
