About Time

Just been to see this today and thoroughly enjoyed it, okay it was cheesy but c/mon its a Richard Curtis movie, it even had me tearing up a bit towards the end. Thought the two leads were great, although i am biased as i love Rachel McAdams.

Anyone else saw this?

Big fan of RC - so was expecting to like it....I loved it....
Spoiler

Tom Hollander was amazing too.
And I was an emotional wreck - with the Sister story line.

Great film. I really enjoyed it too. The lead actors' narration did sound a lot like Hugh Grant in Notting Hill and Love Actually. His voice even sounded similar so you knew you were in Richard Curtis territory. But it was not predictable and I was intrigued to know how it would all pan out and how it would end.

Just got back from watching this. Up until a certain point, it was a fairly gentle, harmless romcom that wasn't particularly funny but wasn't terrible.

Then, unless i'm mistaken, they completely ignored one particularly major plot point from the start of the film and from that point I just lost all interest and couldn't wait for it to end.

Saw it a few weeks ago - was pleasantly surprised by just how good it was.
