I dont think this thread is dumb at all, the OP was simply questioning why some big films seem to fade away into obscurity while other receive directors cuts, remasters, 25th anniversary edition etc...

I'm getting really fed up with the lack of decent movies nowadays, there's no shortage of blockbusters each year but you only ever get one or two genuinely decent ones. For me the best two this year...

Whatever his personal choices are you really cant knock the films he chooses to do, Edge of Tomorrow is definitely one of the best sci fi flicks post-matrix if not whollly original.
