Happy Holidays

Frustrating, if not unexpected, should this be a long mid season break. Thanks to varsas for viewing figures.

Alfred had an awesome week, a bit of character history could have been introduced...

Harvey Dent

Aside from introductions to Harvey and Lovecraft, a distinct lack of progress this week.

The main crime neither impressed in its own right or achieved any development of main characters (Gordon,...

Still watching

The show seems entrenched with both strong and weak elements.

Strong: the rise of Penguin, Falcone/Maroni war and Gordon's fight within GCPD; especially with Bullock. Weak: easily solvable crimes...

Agree about the references to the known future; the question mark mug, appearances of Bruce and Selina etc. Irritating!

Normal, settled, anything but formulaic

The series found itself this week. The future Batman, Catwomen and Penguin were present - as (thankfully) the future Riddler wasn't.

This is Gotham; a city where crime and corruption is not merely...

He's got a point

A mixed second episode.

Strongest when exploring the origins of Batman and supervillains, though the repetitive Penguin and Cat mentions were irritating. Lord Taylor continues to impress and the...

A good start.

Visually spectacular, a little grittier having anticipated a Burton style homage. Agree with DS review of clunky dialogue.

Robert Lord Taylor was excellent. Utterly believable that Cobblepot will...

Great that it is back in its traditional slot. Actually missed the first few - don’t watch anything else on Bravo. Hope there will be some repeats, including Giants Live qualifiers.

It is good news and I'll take the Australian (Channel Nine) TV coverage.

But my...
