Second you can only buy warrantees on new equipment. If it was that new you would be covered by statuary rights anyway.

They may try it on but the TV warranty is nothing to do with Tesco. EU rules give you a 2 year guarantee and Tesco have been forced to honour this in the past. The Sale of Goods Act gives you 6 years...

But you shouldn't have. As I said they cause serious interference to other users. Bin them and put in CAT 5 cable. That is what it is for. It will solve your bandwidth problems as well. A no brainer.

Well, that's a bad move then isn't it. Do it properly with CAT5 cable and it will work. More importantly it will save all your neighbours from the RF interference that homeplugs create.
