IF you do have DACS on the pole, it should be removed by the engineer on the 29th. Your broadband won't work if it isn't removed and the engineer shouldn't leave your premises until it is all working...

If the cell site is becoming congested as the existing fibre to it is not enough, it is as simple as adding another fibre strand to it.

Doubt it'll change, unless they stump up the cost of laying fibre themselves, which would mean yet more cabinets. Reselling an Openreach product is only what happens with ADSL now, it's no different.

What would you suggest though? It is fairly often the internal wiring that is at fault (an extension gone wrong for example). Openreach need access to the premises.
