I thought Thor was ace (a very solid translation of the Kirby version), and XM:FC was a bit meh (much as Dr K did). That said, I don't entirely side with Kermode as I agree Twilight was awful.

Think you're being a touch unfair on Kermode's predictability with this genre - he gave Thor a glowing review and film of the week a few weeks ago.
