It's what I do for a living - rewiring houses. Mostly they are occupied and it works well as long as both sides know what to expect, what needs to be moved, where we are going to lift floorboards...

I have always used it as a modem. We have a firewall/hub box and a wifi router in the eaves that gives good coverage and don't want to change that setup.

I think being drunk at the time shouldn't affect markings for flounce, but it should mean the un-flounce (or whatever we call it) needs to very good to get decent marks....
