I'm not sure about sat stb. But presuming the tv has a hevc decoder and Netflix. And you have an adequate internet connection. You will be able to stream breaking bad and house of cards in 4k.

The tv contains a hevc decoder and is preloaded with netflix. So should be good to go from day one for 4k content over ip. The bitrate is approx 15mbps via hevc.

I'm also sure sky won't take too...

I have a 2009 v10 and it also just gets to the loading screen. Luckily I have a hdr as well and that works fine. Missis is happy she can watch Xmas benidorm..... Wish I didn't have it now.... Haha;)

I upgraded mine to a 1tb he'd and have also noticed that the box does seem to slow down the more the hard drive gets full, although it's not a great issue I think based on your info I would avoid...

my way around it is to have HDCP default...
