Should be grateful that such programmes exist; apart from 'Twin Peaks' and then 'The X-Files' we had a diet of Dallas, Dynasty and Cagney and Lacey for the 80s and early 90s.

Off the top of my head, I know (or think I know) that The Avengers (only from Diana Rigg's episodes onwards), Dangerman and The Prisoner, The Saint (with Roger Moore).
