They certainly are. Avengers Assemble passed me by completely and somehow became the third highest grossing movie to date. Im a bit surprised its with the BBC tbh but I don't know why Im surprised :D...

Yes it was expected to top the ratings by some, in the end it didnt but still did very well getting about 16 or 17 million for both parts iirc.
