They might as well have brought back Blankety Blank and been done with it. With The Guess List the contestants felt surplus to requirements. Good as an entertainment show but not as a quiz.

I can't think of any programme that has matched that Monday 9pm rating in the last 2/3 years. Broadchurch came close. Did Doc Martin manage that rating on Mondays?
