Agreed, it's 2014, not 2006. For HD channels from Sky you need at least the Family bundle, which is 33pm.

With the cheaper HD slots on COM 8 there really is no excuse for channels like Channel 5 HD...

OP never said his kids had an Xbox 360 or Xbox One in their bedrooms but yes, that'd be a good solution if they do. Basically the same as having a laptop hooked up but without the hassle.
