We've got a Manhattan HD freesat box and LG Smart TV, and the exact same happens to us. We have to change channel's and then go back to the Satellite channel to put it back in sync. Very odd.

I've tweeted Film4 and they seem oblivious the film is cut. It is a good couple of minutes missing, and unusual piece to edit, as you say its a important scene in the plot. Very odd.

Oh dear, aspect ratio issue with Ultimate Force. Picture is very squashed to the left of the screen, leaving about 60% of rest of the screen blank. DOG looks fine, so its obviously an issue with them.
