Personally, I would go for the Panny 50vt50...

Personally, I would go for the Panny 50vt50 plasma as I don't like lcds for a variety of reasons. Have a look at avforums.com for their views as well.

You can get an automatic HDMI switch cheap enough. And hide it behind the tv. Make sure it's a powered one and comes with a power supply.

I'll wait for a 4k oled. Don't like lcds for a variety of reasons. I'll stick with my plasma until it breaks and/or 50"+ 4k oleds are about 2k.
