Not that I know of, as ITV officially starts at 9.25.

Sometimes weekend GMTV (cartoons) got cut short due to live F1 or Rugby World Cup coverage, so ITV would hand them a few hours later in the day...

"UKI" followed by 3 digits is a testcard often spotted on BBC satellite feeds. The last 3 numbers can vary. I believe it relates to broadcast from satellite trucks.

Yeah, they still serve a purpose for those with poor broadband connections. The linear movie channels might become obsolete in a few years, but I imagine the Box Office channels will go first.
