I can see the threshold being moved down to maybe £1.5m or £1m (tax increase for "millionaires".) And then the threshold will not increase eventually hitting those in the middle just as has happened...

The reality will come at the end of the year. To cherry pick one or two monthly deficit numbers to try and make a very partisan point isn't very wise. There are only 3 months worth of data thusfar.
