I agree. I think the only reason the character hasn't "shone" over the past few episodes is the episodes gave her nothing to do. Which is a bit unfortunate.

I don't think it's just down to the actor's competence though - the writing for his character hasn't been there, imo. There's been no emotional hook for me to latch on to for Lucas to mean anything...
