Mine does the same. I assume only the outer layer of fur is actually wet so she'll dry off before her inner layer gets wet and she gets cold. Nevertheless I don't want her sopping wet coat rubbing up...

I'm pointing out that back when that did happen those people could earn a very good living, whereas now society gives them a bare minumum (increasingly grudgingly too I might add) and ignores them.
