I'm so sorry to hear about your mum MRSgotobed. My mum had pancreatic cancer too, it's a horrific illness. You are right though - those golden moments and happy times...

Otherwise I like them with prawns, onion and mushrooms in a creamy white wine or sherry sauce, with some nice crusty bread to dip into.
