Unless you really have to trade in the PS3 I would keep both of them, at least you can then have the best of both...

I got the 32EX403 for 449.00 from Sony including a Sony 5 year guarantee just after launch and so far I have been very happy with the TV!
So 399.00 for the 40EX403 seems to be a great deal.
