My ex-Freeserve (now Orange/EE) email address (ending .fsnet.co.uk) has worked fine for about 15 years - until yesterday when it died!

Facetime is far better than Skype (integrated with the dialer and contacts for example) for inter-iPhone and iPad communication. It does however only work between Apple devices!

I have not tried Vodafone 4G but they were totally abysmal on 3G in Oxfordshire when I ditched them about a year ago - some places had 5-bar 2G signal and NO 3G at all!!!!!!

I am not returning...

EE PAYG packs

I have a spare EE PAYG SIM which I was trying to keep the credit on. It came with a Talk&Text "pack" which deducts 1/week. I texted "STOP PACK" to 150 which came back with a "REPLY YES TO CONFIRM"....

Exactly! I used Navfree France like that last year. Navfree maps are downloaded when the app is installed. In use it just uses the phones GPS - and no data at all!
