Yeah, now I come to think of it they are doing the trials with the routers somewhere aren't they, using 800. Cumbria isn't it?

Won't just a small amount of data devices swamp 5Mhz of 800...

Will this also mean that 800 won't work on dongles...

Ha! I made a guess a while ago that they may be able to limit 800 to VoLTE devices only.
I got a guess right for once!

Thanks RAN Man.

Of course the other option would be to crank all the power up...

The higher the number, the higher the priority.
So EEs starts at 2600 (priority 7) and goes down from there..
4G2600 => 4G1800 => 4G800 => 3G2100 => 2G1800

4G prioritised over 3G.
3G prioritised...

I don't know.
I was hoping RAN Man could shed some light on it.
How can anyone launch 800 is what I'm thinking.

If the requirement is that there must be CS voice available at all times (when a 4G...

Yeah, I guess 3G and LTE are more closely related.
LTE to 2G falback probably unreliable and in the case of what RAN Man was saying it may well be that it doesn't hunt for 2G at all and comes back to...

Hang on. I've just realised something.
We were talking about 3 (who don't have 2G) hence why the LTE power is so low.
But why is it just as low on EE. They have a much stronger 2G network yet the LTE...

I would imagine 2100 was prioritised over 900.
EE 4G priority is 2600, 1800, 800 (or will be). Highest capacity first.
Would be the same for 3G.
900 is limited so keep users off it unless it's...

Jolly good!
I find they add them if they've been on for about 5-6 days. Not even a week!
This I find is just a smidgeon better than Orange rolling out 2G in the 90s.
You were lucky if they updated it...
