That is true, the SNP deserve to make their presence felt in the House of Commons especially when they get 50 MP's. In 1979 the SNP voted with Thatcher's tories to bring down a Labour government.

I am sure they will as long as it is in their political interest to do so. They played a huge role in bringing Thatcher to power, which didn't do northern England any favours.
