Tivo does actually record them using any blank space on the hard disk. So you always have complete programmes ready to watch (and fast forward through).


Lol.. skyHD is not even close unfortunately.

The announcement says TiVo software will be on ALL VirginMedia STBs - both PVR and non recording boxes.

So they aren't going to charge you extra for TiVo software.

Not a lot to ask, in fact TV Drive actually did this in the trial - they turned it off when it was rolled out for some reason.

I WISH there was some way to turn off resting though.. maybe...

Turning off sleep mode

TVDrive goes to sleep every night (spins the drive down),
but is dead to the remote for 10 seconds or so when its starting up from sleep.

This wouldn't be so bad if it "remembered" the channel...
