I know many members will find this a shocking revelation, but was it possible that the original Crossroads' cook Shooey McPhee was gay?
Also, didn't they have a gay cook in XR2 or 3? Or was it a grumpy Scottish bloke?

Would that be Amy Turtle soup?
They may have met their demise by consuming eachother!
PS bring back the Brownlows, Arthur, Kath and their awful daughter (was it Glenda? and partner Kevin). Too long ago.
Sadly Pamela Vezey who played Mrs Brownlow died from cancer in 1992.
Glenda indeed - Arthur was of course innocent whatever Iris lied
Now Miss Berta and Miss Babs - definitely wore comfortable shoes no matter what Mr Clifford said and that was a lavender marriage to Mr Kenneth !
It's really annoying me now. Does anyone know the name of the man interviewing the Crossroads cast in this clip? - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UcFzNrpWVIY
It is and the visit to the hall of mirrors........:o:cool:
I really fancied Kevin.
Derek Hobson, presenter of New Faces.
Too much information Fizz..........:o
Was it a perm or just naturally very curly hair?
Shughie McFee was played by Angus Lennie, born in 1930 and I gather still with us.
Glenda always carried a hideous yellow plastic handbag!
And do you remember her pudding faced brother Ron? Didn't he end up marrying cousin Iris?
I enjoyed the first time it was on and when they brough it back it was good too.
Much better than all the repeats and shows about antiques.
Avis Bunnage ?
I always though Carlos was the original chef but apparently the very first 'head cook' was Vi Blundell.
