I absolutely love these two tracks!




A great Lennon and McCartney song. Cilla does a terrific job with it, but I think I prefer the Three Dog Night version, but that's from the Seventies so it doesn't qualify for this thread.

Apparently, this was actually a pretty big hit back in 1963, but it never gets played on “oldies” stations nor does it ever feature on 60’s compilations, so I now declare it a rarity! Good song.

The fact that this is the 1964 Eurovision Song Contest winner is irrelevant - it's hardly Boom Bang A Bloody Bang!
The girl is beautiful, her voice is beautiful, the song is beautiful and it’s sung in Italian. What more could you possibly want?
