You Didn’t Have To Be So Nice by The Lovin’ Spoonful

Different Drum by The Stoneponeys

Deep Purple by Nino Temple and April Stevens
Apparently, this was actually a pretty big hit back in 1963, but it never gets played on “oldies” stations nor does it ever feature on 60’s compilations, so I now declare it a rarity! Good song.

Non Ho L’eta by Gigliola Cinquetti
The fact that this is the 1964 Eurovision Song Contest winner is irrelevant - it's hardly Boom Bang A Bloody Bang!
The girl is beautiful, her voice is beautiful, the song is beautiful and it’s sung in Italian. What more could you possibly want?
oh thanks for posting the loving spoonful and stone ponies thracks..i knew them once i heard them!

that nino temple/april stevens track gave the rock group their name, apparently it was one of their mother favs!

indeed gigliola chinquetti's vocals are beautiful. beat todays female 'vocalists' hands down (and without auto tune as well! lol)
