Id take a guess and say Ronnie, Roxy, Max, the old Jamaican guy from the B and B, Ian Beales wife and Shirley would all smoke in real life they just look like it.
I gave up smoking about 4 years ago having smoked for about 20 years but I don`t keep having a go at people who smoke. I really don`t see what the big deal is about soap stars smoking. It`s nothing to do with anyone else & can`t see the point of having a thread on it.
My brother & sister-in-law should take up whingeing about people smoking as a profession, they`d be very rich.
I happened to say as a joke that my late GP `selfishly` retired because I preferred him to my current one. I then said, on a more serious note, that he died whilst waiting for a heart & lung transplant & my brother`s immediate reaction was to ask if he smoked, it took the wind out of my brother`s sails when I confirmed that my GP had never smoked. They both blame everything that anyone has on smoking, If I broke a nail they`d blame it on my having smoked.
I felt better when I smoked.
Virtually all the cast smoke or have smoked. Cast members I have seen photos of smoking:
June Brown
Cheryl Ferguson - it just makes her all the more attractive.lol
Rita Simons
Sam Womack
Charlie Brooks
Jessie Wallace (don't know if she still does as she is quite health obsessed now)
Sid Owen
Patsy Palmer (don't know if still smokes but definately smoked when she was on the show the first time)
Perry Fenwick
Pam St Clement
Laurie Brett
Scott Maslen
Shona McGarty
John Partridge
John Bardon (I assume he has stopped since his stroke, but never know)
Many ex cast members also smoked. Ones I was shocked at were:
Kacey Ainsworth (Little Mo)
Emma Barton (Honey)
Libby Fox (can't remember actresses name - Belinda something)
Natalie Cassidy
- after watching their characters they didn't seem the types to smoke, obviously their characters are very different to them.
  Who cares who smokes or who doesn't.
I smoke, and everytime I see a Quit Smoking advert on telly the first thing I do is light a ciggie.
I don't smoke where children are present, ever.
I don't smoke in restaurants, on the bus, or any other public places.
I don't smoke in my own home if non smokers are present,
But I refuse to kowtow to media pressure telling me when I can or can't smoke. because I'm an adult and I do know when and where to smoke
From eastenders, max jack, roxy, kat, alfie, phil, shirley, ricky, big mo, ian, jane, denise, dot, heather, billy, whitney, tanya (used to but has quit a few years now) christian, and syed are all definite smokers that i have seen pictures of in papers etc.
Emmerdale
Ryan, Chastity, Jay, Debbie, Rodney, Carl, Jimmy, Edna, Bob, Aaron, Adam, Hazel, again are all definite smokers that i have seen pictures off.
Coronation street
