Yeah, that list is obviously bullshit. World of Warcraft? Okamiden HD?!

I don't think that Nintendo need a Mario or Zelda at launch. As you say Funky, Zelda is unlikely given the recent release of Skyward Sword anyway.

Mario would help to shift consoles at launch, but the system is going to sell out of the gate no matter what. The start of a new gen is the best chance to launch new IPs, or reintroduce ones that have been away. Pikmin 3 seems like it could show up in the first few months, which would likely be a system seller for me.

It'll be interesting to see if Nintendo go for the casuals out of the gate as well. They launched 3DS with Nintendogs and Cats, so we could see something like an upgraded version of Wii Fit to take advantage of the controller functionality that they showed at E3 last year.

I think that we'll probably see a bunch of Nintendo HD collections as well, which have done pretty well on the 360 and PS3.

If Nintendo can show off a handful of interesting games at E3 and muster up a decent launch line up then I think they're in line to do pretty well. After the 3DS, I don't think that they'll go for a crazy price either which will be important for them.
