Even though I have only seen two episodes of Allen Gregory, I have say this show deserves more appreciation. I dont understand why it did so bad in the states and here, it must not of for E4 to put on at 12. something at night. The title character is an ass, but still really likeable, the whole tone of the show has this sarcastic, bitter, strange, surreal vibe about. AG should of done better imo.

I didn't last more than ten seconds after the opening credits of the first episode, but everyone's entitled to their own opinion.
It didn't that well cos they didn't promote it, and they didn't promote it cos it completely bombed in the states and there's no point in promoting a show that's certain to be cancelled.

Like how E4 promoted Charlie's Angels. The way they promoted it I thought it was a comedy!
I think that Alias is a very underrated show in terms of ratings and critics. What do you think?
It was absolutely preposterous rubbish.
And I loved it and have all the series on DVD. And I've watched them.
I thought Jennifer Garner was excellent and was actually very good at being OTT when it was necessary but capable of playing a scene in a very gentle and understated way too.
I've only seen one of the new Charlie's Angels episodes. I don't think it works. A bit too 70s and women have (mostly) moved on - Sydney Bristow vs all three Charlie's Angels? They wouldn't know what had hit them.
I thought the remake of the Bionic Woman had potential too. It hadn't found its feet and unfortunately Bad Bionic (Katee Sackoff) was tending to be more interesting than Jamie Somers.
I obviously like shows with strong (if unrealistic) heroines because another show which seems to have a cult following but which never hit the big time (though it ran for four? series) was the original Nikita series.
- Raising Hope - it gets overshadowed by Glee and New Girl, yet is funnier and more heart-warming than both of them.
- Archer - funniest cartoon on TV!
- Rules Of Engagement - CBS' underdog sitcom, 6 seasons of hilarity.
- Cougar Town - the perfect show from the middle of S1. Critics love it, but the viewership has declined. It captures so many emotions and so much hilarity.
It's odd how this is actually a list of my favourite TV shows.
The Unit was very underrated here in the UK even though it was brilliant!
Me too... like trying to spot some of the guys in other series... Max Martini's been a few things.... Scott Foley just been killed off in Grey's Anatomy... Like Dennis Haybert....
Who I liked also in Now & Again
Back to TU - I discovered that I thought it amazingly hot for a guy to be shooting with two guns whilst wearing a DJ
Gilmore Girls was for a while before E4 picked it up.. i remember watching the first 3 seasons on Nickelodeon and the rest on the Hallmark channel of all places on a Saturday morning
Covert affairs. I didn't like it until I got stuck waiting for a delayed bus once... later I felt compelled to watch all of them. Gets a lot of stick, but its easy watching and Auggie (sp) with his shirt off is very easy on the eye and the story line means I'll be watching season 3.
Nikita
Damages
Outsourced
Person of Interest
Odyssey 5
Nowhere Man
Standoff
The Inside
Brimstone
Mainly stuff thats cancelled after the first season tends to be the best and most interesting/original. Person of interest however will hopefully go for two. Most interesting "procedural" in years!

OK, I accept it would never have won any awards, but it was OK lightweight, inoffensive entertainment that passed the time for an hour.

Awkward, as well great show on MTV
I was pleasantly surprised by Awkward
It's about 12 years old roughly & I remember enjoying it, but it was a case of blink & you missed it.:(
I loved the Unit but it did begin to focus to much on the wives towards the end
the early "Simpsons" seasons and "King of the Hill" would love it.

Also think there should be a few more threads raving about how good Homeland is
