I've always thought Gervais was a one trick pony. I never liked The Office, and I thought Extras was self indulgent sychophantic rubbish.
His 'dwarf' comedy had a lot of short comings and basically bombed. Now he's drafted in his former radio producer Karl in an acting role. Once again, his lack of judgement shows no bounds. Just another mate put in an acting role, whether he can act or not.
As usual, I won't be watching.
