Okay, firstly I want to say that I thought that Jenna Louise Coleman was amazing! I completely love the character of Oswin and would feel really ripped off if that's the last we see of her (for a while anyway.) Another version / ancestor of Oswin just wouldn't be the same, she would have lived or not lived a different life and wouldn't have the same attitude!
Would Moffat really allow fans to fall in love with a version of a new companion that wouldn't be around?
Also a few other questions about Oswin from 'Asylum of the Daleks'.
Why could the Doctor, Rory and Amy hear Oswin's human voice instead of a Dalek one?
If Oswin erased all knowledge of the Doctor from the Daleks memory, then as she is now a Dalek...wouldn't Oswin also forget who the Doctor is?

Why could you hear a Dalek voice and not Nicholas Briggs'?
No, she'd be fine because she's clearly within her own separate thoughts. But probably she was blown up anyway.
good point.
As Gene says - if you take the room as being her mental protection, all she heard at nights was the Daleks trying to break through, and she was trying to keep the door closed. She was trying to keep her Dalekness out.
She didn't even realise that she was directly connected to the Dalek shared memory until the Doctor realised there was no way she could have hacked it.
That also goes with the question of how was it that they heard Oswin's human voice when she was already a dalek ...??
Because she is Oswin Oswald and she is human, remember?
Where in the Dr Who world is Oswin Oswald?
She was a Dalek, so wasn't speaking through an intercom system. All the equipment we see her using is part of her imagination. She is interfacing directly with the comms systems. And as we get to hear Carmen, without any evidence to suggest the Daleks have it, we can surmise the fact that Oswin can feed her imagination into the comms - therefore sounding over the comms as she wishes, not as she actually does.
Ahhh, that makes some sense!!
Thank you sebbie3000
You're welcome!
