When they are talking about a pop star, say Jessie J, and refer to them as 'the Price Tag singer' etc. I don't know why but it annoys me!
YES I hate this too, I get that people might need the clue but it does grate on me!
More phrases and cliches that I hate:
sneak a peek (also because "peek" is often spelled "peak")
bubbly (think Lisa Riley, Vanessa Feltz)
"The parents of the victim spoke from their £600,000 home..."
referring to children as "schoolgirl" or "schoolboy"
