I agree with you about Jack. But as for Clarissa, why should she get more lines just because she is disabled? From what we have seen so far she is played by a perfectly decent actress who is entitled to be cast on merit, not as a token disabled person.
Yes, but I can see saralund's point; if you don't give the character any real reason for being there, it does begin to look tokenistic. It's a bit early to decide that yet, though. Maybe they've got something coming up.
