Oh please, not another backstory! Clarissa must have been introduced for a purpose but I'd far rather it were plot-related.
Perhaps there will be a compromise. There were hints when she was talking to Nikki that she may know what happened up north with Jack, the copper, the gangsters and the switched samples.
