A professional footballer acting like this isn't on; it may be true that the ballboy was hanging onto the ball, but the attempt by Hazard to kick the ball from under him was irresponsible and unprofessional. This gives out the wrong signals to young supporters who may think this is alright for them to do when they play football.

Now, that the charges have been dropped for assault, and that Hazard will get a ban anyway, I wonder how much money the ball boy was paid to drop the assault charges?
I would imagine he dropped it so his own actions weren't scrutinised,timewasting, pretending to have been hurt along with his tweet boasting he would do something like that.
If he had actually been kicked , he would be on tv showing his bruise.
