I remember sleeping on the floor at my mates house when I was about 11 and it was damned uncomfortable then
As said, they didn't even seem to try the mattress out
As for not being able to serve 6 breakfasts out at the same time, that's just not good enough, my wife and I own a cafe and getting all the meals for one order prepared and ready for service is just basic common sense.
