Most games for the systems are coming from Japan and the 3DS is outselling everything by a wide margin at present so will certainly be favoured for software going forward.
There’s also a chance it will get a small price drop over the next few days like they just got in Japan.
I like Uncharted Golden Abbyss and Unit 13, will get Killzone Mercenary
Sadly the entire PSP range from the get go has had pretty bad support for games. But if there are enough titles you like on it, go for it.
Western 3rd party support is and will continue to be be poor for both consoles as publishers are done with handhelds in the west.
I own a Vita, having bought one recently to take advantage of the PS+ service, which has gained me LOADS of games for 'free' (once you look past subscription cost).
Anybody who says there aren't enough games for the Vita clearly doesn't know how many games are currently available. I have a 32gb and 8gb cards, both of which are full.
Anyone interested in pinball and/or Star Wars will interested to know three Star Wars tables are to be released next week for Zen Pinball 2, with another eight in the pipeline. I'm currently addicted to the Captain America table but will be dropping this for the SW tables as soon as they hit
So, yeah, Vita for me.
I like mine, my sons like theirs
Unit 13 is great fun, and ideal for a quick game
My boys spend hours on LBP Vita
I have downloaded Killzone Liberation PSP game onto mine as the PSP nub was horrible
If you want squinty headache inducing 3D and Mario and Zelda games then go for the 3DS.
The device has potential, and the PS4 stuff might help that a little bit, but still, there's just not many people willing to spend £150+ on a handheld device.
Not really
Kat not cat!
Vita gets our vote, maybe a price drop is what's needed to kickstart the vita and one or two more killer games.
It's a pity because it could have been good.
The global sales for week ending 9th Feb ...
Nintendo 3DS .. 189,167
Sony PS Vita .. 24,360
Gravity Rush is a fantastic game once you've gotten used 2 the controls & its free via playstationplus. /bargainofthecentury
