Apparently it's not 'morally repugnant' to out someone's sexuality, regardless of what negative effects it may have on their personal life or relationships.
Yes because that which you mention (which may or may not be true, false, morally repungant or not) is clearly far worse (and goes on much more) than an entire $$$£££ industry devoted to inning various highly-paid celebrities, politicians and sports people, so they can live fake lives to earn huge amounts of money based on false images, perpetuating the shame of the closet system.
Who gets paid for speculating someone might be gay? As opposed to actively inning people, requiring whole teams and PR setups to do it.
I know which one I find worse
in general. And which one I could live with personally.
