Well that gives hope to the future of film...

Yep, because it could show film makers of the future things that they haven't seen before because "old is rubbish" and we must always be looking at what is now so we can make the future, identical to what is already being made.

I freely admit that I'm not a huge fan of modern films as lots of the readers on this forum will already know.
Many I struggle to remember much about within 48 hours of leaving the cinema.
On Wednesday aftrnoon I went and saw Jack the Giant Slayer. The only character's name I know is Jack. I can't remember the name of the princess, the kind, the baddie or the knight. Because this was another focus on SFX and that will entertain people film it was another washed-over, don't make a real impact film like most of today's films.
