Could be, I guess, but it's a bizarre approach, that someone's circumstances can dictate whether they be named or not. How do they measure upset or distress? Just because it's not visible on the outside doesn't mean it's not taking a terrible toll on those who have been named.
Personally, I would have preferred that none of them were named and we hear nothing about them or the charges involved until after the court has judged them, guilty or otherwise.
I agree. Truly bizarre. It's not like anyone is going to deal with this kind of accusation well but it's either the right or wrong thing to do publicising it.
It's almost as if these have all been set up to fail. Will these named celebrities be seen to be able to get a fair trial after being named and discussed on forums
