Hello and welcome to The X Factor: UK vs US vs OZ Series 2!
Last week we saw the departure of the first of the Wildcards category, Rachel Crow. That leaves David with two acts as we go into Week 5.
This week is A Night At The Movies II: The Battle. Each act will perform a song from a film before the judges come together in tonight’s twist to award immunity to one of the eight remaining acts, by ranking the three contestants they think deserve immunity. The act with the highest number of votes from the total ranking will be awarded immunity and will not be included in tonight’s DOUBLE ELIMINATION, which will leave us with six acts going into next week’s show.
Fighting for a place in the Quarter Final next week:
Kuda_Kunaka and the Boys
Reece Mastin
Soppyfan and the Girls
Janet Devlin
Christina Parie
Drew
noonan15 and the Over 25s
Mitchell Callaway
Stacy Francis
yohinnchild and the Wildcards
Kitty Brucknell
Declan Sykes
Joining us again tonight is pingu58011 as our co-host and interviewer, which will be done between the main show and the results.
I may have to leave for around 20 minutes at some point but don’t worry as Pingu will be here to take over.
Without any further ado, please welcome Kuda, Steve, Tom, David and our co-host Pingu!

So opening the show is a girl who has an immortal devil. She is our little rock chick......It`s Christina Parie!!
*standing ovation and mouthing “wow” as I stand and clap*
Christina, I am going to say something here that will probably shock you, for me, you just won this competition! Absolutely snatched, amazing, I am really, uh, yeah, team Christina! Amazing, just amazing.
I thought that was a great performance from you this week and I think you've been the most consistently good out of the girls category. There was a great depth to your lyrical interpretation and I thought your stage presence was amazing. I think you are very much the dark horse of the competition; you're the only one of the girls not to have gone bottom 2 and you have been extremely consistent throughout this whole competition. I'd be surprised if you were in danger tonight.
OMG! That is how you open tonight's show, everyone! Christina, two shows ago, it was a let down, last week was your comeback but tonight and with that song, you were just perfection in my eyes. Whether you get immunity or not, you deserve to be back here next week, girl, because you have worked so hard to get this far and we want that to continue!

Well erm... that was country wasn't it.... I'm actually slightly flummoxed after that performance and don't really know what to say. I think it was good and it was certainly in your country niche.... I think as a one off performance it worked well but I wouldn't want you to give performances like this week after week and within every theme. I guess as its so far within your country niche you may want to try and sing something slightly different to show some versatility, but as I said for a one off I think it just about worked,
*dancing in my seat then gets up and starts dancing*
Mitchell, yeahh! You had me dancing along, I decided to go a bit up tempo with you tonight and I personally think it worked, certainly, yeah, I loved it! I am so proud of you tonight! Well done! We took a risk, and it paid off IMO.

Drew, your mentor took a huge risk tonight, a huge one. In all fairness, I did miss your slow song, however, this performance was a great way to show us another side to you. For some reason, it worked, I was very worried when I seen you was going up tempo, but it worked. Well done
I don't think you've had the easiest rides in this competition, last week you just about managed to avoid competition suicide with a 1D pick. Thankfully you're back this week and stronger than the last couple of weeks. It's good to see you trying something which is a different tempo to what you've done before. I guess my only criticism of the song is that it keeps a bit at the one level, but other than that I thought it was a good performance and certainly one of your better ones throughout the last 5 weeks.

Kitty, for once, I sat there and thoroughly enjoyed it and wasn’t creeped out or got bored, I watched, loved and head bopped. The talent tonight is so good! You are the dark horse here, for me, you are rising through the competition, and showing us you do not want to be hidden in the shadows of the Janets or Christinas, you came out, and told us that you are here, well done!
Absolutely beautiful performance from you this week! The past couple of shows you have been given songs with a big more of a rockier edge, this week it was all about the emotion of the song and one thing you can do is put your heart and soul into a song. Your interpretation of the lyrics always amazes me and I think that was one of your best performances to date. Sure it may have lacked a performance punch of the last couple of weeks, but the point of this performance was just about the performance, it was down to the vocals and the feeling of the song. You nailed it once more and I really hope that people continue to support you this evening. As with Declan I'm always amazed when my acts are supported and get through and am pleased that Kitty has escaped any bottom 2 appearance. Vote for the Kitty Cat tonight!
Whoops - didn't know that
