that is a shallow opinion if ever i saw one, but in answer to your equally shallow question. we have had bald prime ministers, but we have never had a prime minister that was born in wales.
It's not a shallow opinion, it's a FACT that Kinnock's image worked against him. I didn't say that was right. I am a baldie, so I'm hardly likely to be baldist myself, but the fact remains that we haven't had a bald prime minister in a very, very long time, hence my "shallow" question. During the TV era, image has become more and more important, which is why a Blair lookalike like Cameron was far more electable than Iain Duncan Smith or William Hague.
