I love Kelly, but realistically (unless she does some major promo), it wont get to #1 in the UK.
Kisses down low had that potential, but she didn't promote here in the UK, and I don't think it entered top 40.
Dirty Laundry however, looks like a HIT that's going to sell her album in the US.
no. they have a great relationship. infact, they have just collaborated on a song together, called You Changed, on Kelly Rowlands album Talk A Good Game, out June 18
She gets along great with Beyonce thats why she calls her sister all the time instead of cousin. They never let the fame come between them. Kelly was just a bit jealous of Bey's success, which isn't all that surprising. Kelly should have dumped Matthew long before she did. All he cared about was his daughter.
I have to say, after giving this a few listens, I do agree with what Wendy Williams said on her show.
Its great how real & deep the lyrics are, but the song as an actual song is missing something. Its kind of boring. But I love how honest she is being, I just wish it was better as an overall song.
Great to see Kelly Rowland back to her more R'N'B sound. The song lyrically is like a commentary throughout which works really well. Also unlike Ms Rowland's most recent efforts she's finally singing about something other than sex! And it's nice to see a different side to Kelly and gain a better understanding of who she is and her story.

I agree. The lyrics are really deep and personal, and the production itself is great, but the song is not very melodic other than the chorus/hook ("Let's do this dirty laundry, this dirty laundry"), so it's not really catchy in any way to me, that is.
It's nice to hear Kelly sing about something other than sex though, so that's great.

Not a bad song but it's more conversational in it's lyrics

Overall a good effort!
What did Wendy Williams say?
She spoke on her Hot topics about how Kelly speaks honestly, but she just didn't like the actual song.
